A white male, late 20's early 30's entered a back door in Ermine Street uninvited, when confronted by the occupants, he said he was from the water board. Reference was made by one of the occupants that a male would be home soon, at which time voices were heard outside and the man ran away. Please be on your guard for this type of criminal, they are opportunists, they take advantage of the warm weather and doors being open!
Wednesday 10th January 2007
10.30am, a vehicle entered premises in High Road, High Cross. Two men were challenged by the occupant and said they had been sent by 'Nelson' to collect scrap. When asked to leave they became abusive and continued to load their vehicle.
